In the heart of River Grove, IL. is the best damb Tiki Bar within 500 miles of Chicago. Hala Kahiki is a midwest mecca, it's got all the tikis you could wish for, an extensive drink menu, and a huge gift shop. The gift shop alone makes this place worth visiting, especially since they have incredibly reasonable prices on Hawaiian shirts. The bar side is 3 rooms and a huge patio of polynesian splendor. The employees are friendly older gals, and love to tell ya a story or two about the place. This place is so great i don't believe words are really sufficient...................
